Here at Mifflin Fire we have 3 fully equipped ALS Squads. Two of the Squads are located at Station 1, one Squad is Primary and the other is a back up Squad. Station 2 has one Squad that is used as a Primary Squad for that Station. The Squads are on a monthly rotation between the two Stations.
Station 1 Primary Squad responds to all medical and MVA calls South of US RTE 30 in the Township, it is also the Primary Squad for any medical or MVA calls on US RTE 30 and I71. It also will respond to assist Station 2 on any medical call when necessary.
Station 2 Primary Squad responds to all medical and MVA calls North of US RTE 30 in the Township. It also will respond to assist Station 1 on any medical call when necessary.

In 2018 we were awarded the AFG Grant to receive 3 Stryker EMS Power Load Cot Systems, one for each Squad. In 2020 we had them installed into the squads. This system helps with lifting patients into and out of the squads more safely.
